भारत और अमेरिका की अंतरिक्ष एजेंसियों — ISRO और NASA — ने मिलकर एक अनोखा सैटेलाइट तैयार किया है, जिसे NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar) कहा जाता है। यह दुनिया का पहला ऐसा रडार सैटेलाइट है जो दो अलग-अलग बैंड (L-band और S-band) पर काम करता है और हर 12 दिन में धरती के पूरे हिस्से को स्कैन करता है — वो भी बादलों के बीच से और रात में भी!

🌐 What is NISAR?

NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar) is a joint Earth-observation satellite launched by ISRO and NASA, designed to scan and monitor Earth’s surface with dual-band radar technology. This is the world’s first satellite capable of capturing high-resolution imagery through clouds, night, and even smoke, every 12 days globally.

30 जुलाई 2025 को इसे भारत के श्रीहरिकोटा से GSLV रॉकेट के ज़रिए सफलतापूर्वक लॉन्च किया गया। इस मिशन में NASA की तकनीक और ISRO की इंजीनियरिंग एक साथ आई, जो इसे एक ऐतिहासिक स्पेस मिशन बनाती है।

On 30th July 2025, NISAR was launched from Sriharikota using India’s GSLV rocket. It marks a milestone collaboration in global space research between two leading space powers — India and the USA.
